  7. Read a few selected works (short stories, novels and critical pieces) by various women writers and feminist critics

Objectives


This course will introduce students to the key concepts in feminist literary criticism and equip students with the critical tools to perform a textual analysis from a feminist perspective.

Organisation


The format will be a 1-hour lecture, followed by a 1-hour workshop each week.
There will also be 2-3 tutorials over the duration of the course.

Coursework accounts for 100% of your grade and will depend on:
1 short essay
1 in-class test
Final paper
