Applications are invited for the following post:

Administrative Assistant II in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 201200527) (from as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a University degree (Second Class Upper Honours or above) and not less than 5 years’ relevant administrative experience, preferably in tertiary education, and should be able to demonstrate a capacity for independent action.  An excellent command of English and Chinese and a high level of oral and written communication skills are essential.  Knowledge of IT and data processing is a definite asset.  The appointee is required to work independently, with good organizational and interpersonal skills. His/Her major duties include servicing a number of Faculty level committees, providing administrative support in curriculum development as well as teaching/learning quality assurance, and overseeing areas such as examination and undergraduate student matters.  The appointee is expected to lead in the supervision of executive and clerical staff members.  Shortlisted candidates will be
invited to attend a written test.
